This can take the form of viewing random episodes of The West Wing, revisiting the writings of the Dalai Lama or Martin Luther King, or, in dire emergencies, mainlining Stevie Wonder. It has become my habit, when the loopy cascade of previously unthinkable political headlines emanating mostly but not exclusively from Washington starts to harsh my naturally sunny disposition, to score a fix of therapeutic counter-programming. ![]() ![]() At a time when toxic tweets consume so much of our political bandwidth and abuse of power seems rampant, Jean Vanier is an oasis of sane humanity. ![]()
